Neal Family Howell Mountain Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

Every year the challenge with the mountain vineyards is to manage the powerful tannins into a rounder, more approachable 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Big and tight at a young age, this Cabernet is a good candidate to lie down. Earthy and dark to start, a rich, ripe fruit character comes out with decanting. Cherry, vanilla, toasty oak, leather and cassis flavors accompany the mountain tannins and balanced finish. Organically grown (CCOF certified).
