Hi there

Anyone who is considering a visit to the Champagne region may be interested in a special weekend that we've created  this November.

Every year on the second weekend in November there is an incredible, but little-known wine fair that takes place in Reims: La Foire des Vignerons Independents

Several hundred wine makers from all over France converge on Reims for a weekend show and what an event it is! You can browse, taste, chat to the wine makers, buy and enjoy yourself to your heart's content. A chance to discover wines from all regions of France - not just champagne -all conveniently in one location.

To make the visit even more unforgettable we've put together a package to show you some more of the delights of the Champagne region to create a gastronomic experience for anyone interested in champagne, wine, eating and good living.

Around this event we are offering several other unforgettable champagne experiences to complete the weekend

We kick off on Friday night with a masterclass champagne tasting with Steve Charters MW, followed by dinner at a local small producer's domaine.

Saturday morning sees us out in the vineyards with a local expert on viticulture whose knowledge is second to none. He'll give you an insight into champagne that few people ever have the chance to discover.

The afternoon is spent tasting and buying at the fabulous wine festival and the culmination of the programme on Saturday night takes us off again to a small producer's domaine for more champagne and food matching and merriment.

The focus will be on discovering some of the fabulous champagnes from the smaller producers that you may never have heard of and will certainly never have tasted, and of course there will also be the chance to sample some of the world famous champagnes too. Anyone up for joining us?
